And the Angels did sing
The Sunday before last was the Primary Program. You know what day that is...
... the day when all parents sit back and tear up at the joy their children bring into their lives. And at that moment we all have perfect children.
Mr. Finn brought that up after he got back from Home Teaching and he is right. No matter how angry I was with those kids before the program, my heart swelled a hundred fold listening to them sing their songs and say their parts. I could hardly remember why I was so angry. Well, I could still remember, but it was overshadowed by how proud I was to be their Mother at that moment.
And... I got to sit through the whole program without a child antagonizing me. It was heaven.

Things I love about Mr. Finn
We were there the moment they lit this tree and watched it change colors over and over again to the delight of our children.
He is the adventurous one in our family. I have "desire" to go see things, but I putter out and want to stay at home. We get to experience so many wonderful sights because he drags us out.
Being able to go to Kansas for a tree lighting ceremony when the kids should have been in bed was worth it. Such a spectacular sight watching the joy in your children's eyes as the tree lights up.
Very tired but HAPPY children. Thanks Mr. Finn!

Super Saturday
I love Sis. Geddes hair. So gorgeous... like fire.
The Bishop's wife has the cutest baby belly. Only 2 weeks to go.
I absolutely love Super Saturday. I enjoy the crafts, but I really enjoy the women, the talking and the time away from kids. That sounds bad that I enjoy 4 whole hours without being told someone is hungry or got hit or... you get my drift. I enjoy that when I come home I have something made that I can enjoy! And oft times I make more than one that becomes a gift for someone special.
These Christmas Tins are going to be framed and they also have a cute plaid round magnet that counts down the days. Perfection!
I didn't do much else. I semi learned how to make crocheted head bands with rosettes, but I am still working on it.
What did you do in your Super Saturday?

Our greatest blessing
(thanks Jolin for the photo)
One of the most wonderful and hardest times in my life was when I lived in Virginia, just outside of D.C. and my friend, my wonderful Margaret would pick me up at the "crack" of dawn to be at the first session in the DC Temple. It is where I learned the entire session by memory, mostly to keep myself awake. Not that I did all the time. You're laughing, aren't you Margaret? She used to wake me up often. That is when I started memorizing because my body doesn't do sit well. That couple of years, the first Saturday of the month, changed my life. Thank you my Friend for being part of that with me.
How many blessing did I mention in this post? It's hard to tell how many you can see and how many were realized later because of these events.
Did I catch up Shannon? You are my inspiration for the daily gratitude.

Tired...
Who's tired of my last post? I am tired of looking at it and yet am highly unmotivated to change it.
Does it help that The Dude had the Flu on Tuesday and I had it on Wednesday night until this morning and I am exhausted?
Would it help to add that I hadn't clipped coupons for 2 months and spent three, YES I said 3 hours clipping them? It could have been four. I lost consciousness somewhere in there.
I will bring something new to the blog tomorrow.
If I don't get bogged down with something else.
Like Super Saturday.
Looks like you are out of luck until Sunday.
And we all know that I don't do anything on Sunday.
Because it is a day of rest and I take that very seriously around here.
See you Monday then.
O.K.?
